Christopher Bettig aka the mountain labe/ USA

With a big pleasure we introduce you to Christopher Bettig. He is originally from France, but was raised and spent the majority of his life in the USA. He used to live in New York now he lives in Los Angeles. And he prefers Los Angeles, where almost never rains and he goes surfing. He describes his art as a mixed media body of work that is all about nature and loneliness... He is inspired by nature, life, traveling, and other artists like Geoff Mcfetridge, Charles and Ray Eames, Robin and Lucienne Day, Jean Michel Basquiat, Christian Boltanski, Christian Marclay, Phil Frost and others. Christopher is sure that his art lovers are the greatest people on earth! He loves football / futball / soccer, go swimming, but hates rain and computers. He listens to everything and anything… lately a lot of Serge Gainsbourg, Satyajit Ray, John Lennon, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, J Dilla, Gustavo Santaolalla, and the Beatles.
